About Me.

I’m a casual Canadian with a love for creativity, curiosity, and following wherever inspiration decides to wander. Art, for me, isn’t about staying in one lane. It’s about exploration. Some days that means painting water and sea life. Other days it might mean something nostalgic, whimsical, or entirely unexpected. I paint what pulls at me in the moment.

I’ve always been drawn to atmosphere — storms rolling in, light reflecting on water, the quiet mystery of something just beneath the surface. I’m especially fascinated by the way color can shift a mood and how a single image can tell a story without saying a word. My work isn’t confined to one theme because neither is imagination.

The name “A Casual Canadian” reflects how I approach both art and life: relaxed, genuine, and open to wherever the journey leads. This site is an adventure in art — a growing collection of pieces that evolve as I do. Some paintings may feel bold and dramatic, others calm and reflective, but all of them are created from instinct and curiosity rather than obligation.

I’m not here to mass-produce a single style. I’m here to create, explore, and share the process along the way.
